Polyphonic Soundscapes
Installation using conductive materials and proximity sensors to create a responsive sonic environment that changes based on hand-movement. Exhibited in MODEM (Debrecen), Kiscelli Museum, Budapest Photo Festival and Műcsarnok - Masters of Light (Budapest).

"If we talk about the concept of 'extended medium,' let's mention Rozina Pátkai's image, which uniquely combines sound and interaction in the presented piece of her series 'Dialect - Talking Landscapes' (2016). It shows the close structure of winter undergrowth, but encourages the viewer to touch the image. If they do this, and in an exhibition situation, very unusually place their palm on the surface of the picture, they hear an ambient sound that changes if they touch a different point of the artwork. The metaphysics of the landscape receives a sonorous expression, and unexpectedly shifts the interpretive domain of landscape photography." (Zsolt Petrányi: Landscape - After the Battle? Hungarian Landscape Photography Exhibition at the Kiscelli Museum, Film Art Magazine, 2019/2.)
