Vertical Moment
Vertical Moment is an immersive, interactive sound installation where poetry, music and space converge. Created by Rozina Pátkai, it simulates an interior room environment with touch-responsive sensors that transform visitors' physical interactions into evolving soundscapes, representing the intimate connection between our inner thoughts and physical surroundings.
Poetry, music, and space: the "sounding environment" of poems, the shared physical space of music and text. This is the theme of Rozina Pátkai's installation. "Vertical Moment" is an arranged "interior" space that concentrates the temporal, planar, and spatial layers of meaning of the texts into an infinite point: the home, the center of our daily departures and returns, the direct physical projection of our inner space. From the window, we can look out into the real physical world, from which we are secluded in our room. In our room, familiar objects are associated with experiences and abstract associations. The appearing images and sounds repeat in an infinite loop: we are free to choose, and by lingering in this space, we cannot miss anything. LINK
